Sujuk Oeuf Wrap
(1 Servings)What you’ll need
1 | 1 large egg (50 g) |
2 | 50 g sujuk, sliced thinly |
3 | 1 small tortilla wrap (25 cm diameter) |
4 | 10 g butter |
5 | Salt and pepper to taste |
6 | Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish) |
How to make it
Cook the Sujuk: In a skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Add the sliced sujuk and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until crispy and fragrant. The spices from the sujuk will fill your kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma.
Whisk the Egg: While the sujuk is cooking, crack the egg into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then whisk until the yolk and whites are well combined, creating a beautiful golden mixture.
Cook the Egg: Push the cooked sujuk to one side of the skillet and add the remaining butter to the empty side. Pour the whisked egg into the skillet and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, gently stirring to create soft curds. The egg should be fluffy and tender.
Assemble the Wrap: Once the egg is cooked to your liking, remove the skillet from heat. Lay the tortilla wrap flat on a plate. Spoon the cooked sujuk and egg mixture onto the center of the wrap. If you're feeling fancy, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top for a pop of color.
Wrap it Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up from the bottom to create a snug wrap. You can slice it in half for easier handling, or just dive right in!
